Best of 2013 – Nightlife

It’s been a long time…  A very long time.  The last few months have been hectic to say the least and this blog has had to take a backseat for awhile – not ideal and something I will be remedying in the future.

I have been shooting so much in recent months – everything from editorial images of ceremonies and artisans, to commercial projects with restaurants, villas and hotels.  The breadth of subjects I have been covering has grown and grown, to the point that I can no longer really call myself this or that type of photographer – instead I prefer to describe myself as a ‘Working photographer’, capable of shooting whatever my clients need.

A jack of all trades, and master of none?  Perhaps…  Over the Christmas break I am going to sit down and refine my plans and ambitions a little, spend some time working out exactly what I want to be doing in the future.  Try and identify my niche(s), and develop a little clarity in my work.  Or…  perhaps not.  I actually enjoy the diversity of subjects at the moment – very rarely do I get a dull day!

I was planning on pulling together a selection of images from 2013 for a ‘Best of…’, but had so many I wanted to include that I have decided to do a series!  So without further ado, here is my ‘Best of 2013 – Nightlife’ selection for you.  Thanks to Hu’u Bar, Love in Tents and Massive Vibrations!

Now put some loud music on and watch the slideshow…
